Some work stays with you. This is one of those.

For two consecutive years, Hospital Paitilla invited me to be part of their CEF-Mujer program — a corporate social responsibility initiative that brings together professionals from different fields to facilitate workshops for adolescent girls between 12 and 17 years old.

My sessions focused on communication, goal-setting, and time management — practical tools designed not just for school, but for life. The kind of conversations that remind you that what you say, how you say it, and how you organize your time actually matters.

What I didn’t expect was how much they’d give back. Every room full of girls with crowns on their heads and peace signs in the air reminded me why this work exists.

Two years. Two groups. One program that keeps showing up in my memory as proof that non-academic education, when done right, changes things.
